    We are looking for a Group Facilitator to join our team in our addiction treatment center.   


    Workdays:  5 days per week - Monday - Friday, must be willing to work Saturday

    Hours:  9am - 4:30pm with the possibility of evening hours


    • Facilitate groups about topics such as relapse prevention, coping skills, substance abuse, wellness, 12 step, and process groups
    • Maintain confidentiality of records regarding client’s treatment in accordance to HIPAA standards
    • Actively assesses and assists with the detection and prevention of high risk situations
    • Provides individual, group and family counseling to patients struggling with substance abuse and mental health disorders and assists in overcoming substance abuse dependence and in helping in adjusting to overall life changes
    • Performs biopsychosocial assessments, creates treatment plans based on patients’ needs with measurable objectives and completes daily required paperwork that meets standards for level of care
    • Delivers evidenced based treatment interventions for patients
    • Ensure complete, accurate, and timely entries of necessary and required documentation for each patient on a daily basis
    • Provides input to facility administration regarding treatment response and progress reports of patients on a regularly scheduled basis
    • Evaluate and report on patients’ progress in resolving identified problems and moving toward defined objectives and treatment goals
    • Communicates with other staff members regarding concerns, pertinent issues, as well as client’s progress in the treatment process
    • Participates and communicates actively in departmental meetings, training and education
    • Ability to be flexible and take on tasks from other departments
    • Additional duties as assigned


    • Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Counseling or related field
    • Minimum of two years’ experience working in the mental health field
    • Experience working in substance abuse / detox facility a plus
